Daniel Casselberry, Senior Pastor Ext. 112

Dan and his wife Cherrie came to Ortega in the summer of 2004. He is a graduate of Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary, both located in Wilmore, Kentucky. They have served churches in Florida since 1972 including 8 years in Neptune Beach, 11 years in Haines City, and 7 at Delray Beach. Cherrie is a graduate of Florida State University, so they are Seminole fans. She also has a Masters from UNF. She is a second grade teacher at Stockton Elementary School.

They have two grown children: Michelle and her husband Randy live in Deltona, and Shawn and his wife Jen live in Chicago. They don’t have any grandchildren yet, but Cherrie has a cat named Nikki!

Michael Hudson, Associate Pastor Ext. 113

Mike ministered to youth for years before graduating from Asbury Seminary in 2004. He and his wife, Alyson, have three kids. He joined the staff of OUMC in July of 2006 and, among other things, leads the contemporary service and keeps the congregation updated on all things NASCAR.

Shannon Jennings, Director of Youth Ministries Ext.114

Shannon is a life long member of Ortega Methodist, having been baptized here as a baby. She was confirmed here and was very active in our Youth Group as a teenager. In fact, she liked it so well that after her graduation from the University of Florida, she became our Youth Minister. She has held this job for 12 years. She presently has between 100 and 200 kids and a pink motor scooter.

Susan Norville, Director of Christian Education Ext.120

Susan joined Ortega Methodist through the youth group and was married at Ortega. Her love for this church and all that it has meant to her and her family led her to be on staff here. She plans programming for children and adult ministries She has 1 husband, 3 children, 2 dogs( she might give her children away but never the dogs).

Winslow Colbert, Finance and Administration Ext.118

When Winslow is asked for her job description, her answer is, "Anything anyone asks me to do!" She joined our staff in January of 2005, and besides working with finance, she does the weekly bulletin, the monthly newsletter, and tries to keep the ministers and membership in line. When she married her husband Bart, she acquired two daughters who brighten their lives.
