Wesley Discipleship Groups

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." - 2 Corinthians 3:18

If we are going to make a difference in the world, then we must be different from the world.  The word God uses to describe this difference is holiness. These small groups are designed to disciple you in your walk with Christ and grow in holiness.

There is no study guide, video series, or book to buy. It is important to know that this is not about information, but transformation. In these groups we simply apply the scriptures to our lives, pray, and encourage each other in the practice of our faith.

We meet once a week for one hour. The groups are open to everyone and can be joined at anytime. When a group gathers, we break into smaller groups of three or four and share how our walk with Christ is going by using the statement below to lead the discussion.

 

Because I want to grow in my faith with Jesus, I commit to do the following:

• Read the Bible
• Spend time in prayer each day
• Attend church each week
• Tell the truth
• Do no harm; avoid evil of all kinds
• Do good; love your neighbor as yourself
• Love God; obey His commands

If you are interested in being part of a group like this, please contact Pastor Mike at 389-5556.  Times and locations of group meetings are extremely flexible. All that is needed is two people with a desire to be discipled.
