As we gather together August 25-27th, we are looking forward to what the Lord will do in and through us during this special time of preaching, praise,
testimonies, and prayer. Each night we will have dinner on the grounds followed by a worship time in the Sanctuary. It begins each night at 6pm and ends at 8:15pm. There is a nursery as well as children's programming for those 4th grade and under.
Wednesday night (August 25th) at 6pm we will cookout hamburgers and hotdogs and have all the fixins. At 7pm we will move into the Sanctuary for worship and Pastor Mike will share a message called, First Love.
Thursday night (August 26th) at 6pm is a covered dish dinner. The church will supply the fried chicken but we ask everyone else to bring a dish. If your last name begins with A-J bring a dessert. If it begins with K-R bring a side vegetable dish and if begins with S-Z bring a bread or salad. At 7pm we will head into the Sanctuary again and Pastor Dan will bring a message entitled, The Great Exchange.
Friday night (August 27th) at 6pm we are having a fish fry. Dinner is again at 6pm followed by worship in the Sanctuary at 7pm. Pastor Mike will preach a message entitled, Fire.
Sunday, August 29th at each of our regular services, Pastor Mike will conclude the series with a message entitled, Rest. Join us again on Sunday evening from 7 to 8pm, we will hold a Thanksgiving and Praise service for all that God has done! The Phil 4:6 admonition to pray reminds us "And don't forget to thank Him for the answers." It will be a time of thanking God for His blessings and folks to share what the Revive Us has meant to them, as well as praying for God's continued blessing in our church as we move into the fall.
These nights are intended to revive your relationship with the Lord. We are praying that God will revive us and bring new, fresh life to our hearts, homes, and community. Please invite your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers who need to experience the love and hope found only in Jesus.
We are spending the previous month in prayer for these special nights.
