DON'T FORGET TO THANK HIM!
You are probably familiar with that verse from Philippians 4:6 in the Living Bible that says, "Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything, and don't forget to thank God for the answers!"
Well, we tried not to worry about anything during our "Revive Us" events, but rather we found ourselves in the 30 days of preparation, praying about everything and for everyone! As a result we were blessed abundantly and now its time to thank God for the answers!
We prayed, "Come Lord…revive us" and He did!
We want to thank God for inspiring Pastor Mike with the whole idea of doing special services to kick off our fall program as well as seeking God's blessing in our church and community. We want to thank God for guiding Mike as he put together the wonderful 30-day prayer guide! We want to thank God for using Mike to coordinate the events and for all those who volunteered to help him with printing and publicity and recruiting volunteers.
We want to thank God for our church staff and lay leadership who helped and for all the folks who donated supplies for the dinners on the ground each night. We thank God for those who did set up, clean up, and who cooked and served. We thank God for those who served as greeters and those who gave their testimonies!
We thank God for those who led Moments with the Children and for those who led our Children's program, and worked in the nursery. We thank God for our musicians and for all the music that lifted our spirits and opened our hearts. We thank God for the anointed messages he gave us out of His word, and for those who responded to the challenge to come back to their First Love and who allowed God to re-ignite their passion for Him!
We thank God for all who fasted and prayed and believed the promises of God!
We thank God for those who took part in the Prayer Walk. We thank God for those who packed a pew or invited neighbors and friends or brought their family! We thank God for those who showed up!
We thank God for answering our prayers and for continuing to answer our prayers in our lives and in the lives of others. Thank God for His healing, saving grace!
"We thank God for saving our souls, for making us whole, for giving to us His salvation so full and free!"
