"Revive Us"
Psalm 42:1 says, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God."
Pastor Mike and I have a God-given desire to see our lives and the life and ministry of our church revived by God's Spirit. That is why we are seeking to provide leadership for this time set aside for spiritual renewal.
It's time for God to "Revive Us."
Fortunately, we are not the only ones who have this desire. A number of individuals and families have stepped forward to offer assistance in the preparation for this event. We are grateful that there are others who share the vision of God's grace and power being poured out on His people.
There is no revival without prayer. So prayer is an essential means of preparation for these special services and events we have planned.
Therefore Pastor Mike has prepared a wonderful prayer guide for 30 days of prayer leading up to our services August 25-27. There are special prayer services planned and a prayer walk.
Persons are also encouraged to hold prayer meetings in their homes inviting others to join them.
The scripture says, "If My people will humble themselves and pray… then will I hear from heaven…"
(2 Chronicles 7:14).
We are praying for ourselves, our families, our neighbors and friends. We are praying for God's presence to be manifest in all of our lives.
