Contemporary Worship Team
The Praise Team serves our Contemporary Service, and includes both instrumentalists and singers. The band leads with praise choruses and special music in worship at 8:45 a.m. every Sunday. For information, please contact Pastor Mike Hudson at 389-5556. The Praise Team rehearses every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Vocal Ensembles
The Promise is a small auditioned group of adults/youth who participate in the Chancel Choir. They present bi-monthly in worship services and seek to add concerts and community outreach to their schedule. This group meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.
The Sonshine Ladies Ensemble is a non-auditioned vocal ensemble that meets in the music suite each Wednesday from 7:15 p.m. to 7:30 pm. All ladies within the church are encouraged to join this musical group.
His Way, a male ensemble, meets periodically and presents on occasion. This non-auditioned ensemble is open for membership to any adult/youth male within the church. Watch the Spire for more details.
Handbell Choir
The Jubilance Handbell Choir meets on Sundays at 6:00pm. This talented group prepares hymn tunes and original works for handbells for worship offerings. Some music reading ability is helpful.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is open is all adults and sings weekly at our 11:00am worship. Cantatas and other special music is offered during various services throughout the year. Sharing concerns, praises, and social activities are included in their gatherings. The choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:30pm.
Children/Youth Choirs
There are separate choirs for PreK4–1st grade and 2nd–6th grade. Time for rehearsals for these choirs is on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-5:45pm. The Children's Choir will present a Christmas musical on Wednesday, December 8th as part of the Family Night Fellowship Dinner. If you have children interested in participating, please contact Gwen Smith, Children's Choir Coordinator at 468-1198.
