Faux Book Club

Word is out that the Faux Book Club enjoys lunch out and about. While we do enjoy discussion of our current selection; it could be said that most of our time is spent in fellowship. We are growing in number but we always have room for more.

Our last regular meeting of the year will be on Friday, May 11 at Whiteway Deli. Our book selection is The Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford.

Ruth Hedge has graciously agreed to host our end of the year gathering at her home. This luncheon will be on Friday, June 1, at 11:00. It will be a potluck salad luncheon with everyone bringing her favorite salad. Ruth will get directions to us closer to the date.

In addition to enjoying good food and fell owship at Ruth’s, we will select all our books to read next season – from September 2012 – May 2013. We are asking each person to bring at least one book for consideration and more, if you’d like, as possible selections. Be prepared to give a brief description of the book and your reason(s) for choosing it for the group to read. We will vote on the books to be read next year after the presentations of all books.
