October - November This year, as part of the Annual Building on Faith Project, our church is helping HabiJax Build two homes. Our church is in a coalition of over eight Jacksonville United Methodist Churches committed to building these. · GREAT WAY FOR STUDENTS TO EARN COMMUNITY SERVICE CREDITS! · GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR CHRISTIAN SERVICE AND FELLOWSHIP THROUGH SERVICE TO OTHERS! · GREAT FAMILY ACTIVITY!
Where do we meet each week? · We will meet at 8:00 a.m. every Saturday at the HabiJax Headquarters, 2404 Hubbard St., for Devotion, Safety Talk, Volunteer Sign-up, Breakfast Snack, Etc. We will then be assigned our tasks to accomplish for the day and travel together to the work site(s). Your help is greatly needed for this project. Sign up today! You will be contacted to remind you when you signed up!  Each Spring the Missions Committee hosts a golf tournament: Holes for Habijax, the goal of which is FOR LOTS OF PEOPLE TO HAVE LOTS OF FUN, AND RAISE LOTS OF MONEY FOR A VERY WORTHY CAUSE.
